For centuries in India and the Middle East,
people have been decorating their
bodies with a special paste made from henna (a plant). Traditionally henna design
is applied to a bride's hands and feet before her marriage
ceremony.

At HALO, we
have imported this art giving it a modern twist while retaining much of
the traditional design and patterning. The henna paste is applied to the
skin in a desired pattern and then left to stain the skin for a
duration of time. After the paste is flaked away, you will have a
beautiful dark red/brown "tattoo" which lasts for two weeks approximately.
Most parts of the body can be decorated with henna, but the hands and feet
do stain more readily.
